Standing Sternocleidomastoid StretchThe "Standing Sternocleidomastoid Stretch" primarily stretches the Sternocleidomastoid (side of the neck) as well as the Neck Extensors (depending if chin is tucked in). Many of us have tight Neck Extensors due to our professions, weak/tight muscles and posture. This stretch is recommended for relieving unwanted stress in the neck/upper back and will promote proper posture.
